Samuel Chukwueze, the talented forward player of the Super Eagles, has finalized his transfer from Villareal to AC Milan, securing a long-term deal with the club.
The Nigerian footballer is expected to travel to Italy soon for his medical examination, the final step before officially joining the ranks of the seven-time European Champions. He will be the fifth addition to Milan’s squad during the 2023 summer transfer window, following the signings of Christian Pulisic, Tijjani Reijnders, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Noah Okafor.
Upon completion of his medical and paperwork, Chukwueze is set to sign a lucrative five-year contract with the Serie A side, guaranteeing him an annual salary of €4 million. Once everything is sorted, he will head to the United States of America to join his new Milan teammates on their pre-season tour.
The 24-year-old’s arrival will undoubtedly bolster Milan’s squad significantly for the upcoming season. During his time at Villarreal, Chukwueze showcased remarkable performance, contributing to 24 goals across all competitions in a single season, which stands as his highest achievement with the Spanish club.
