Man Crush Monday; Ruger

1

Our man Crush, Ruger, so confident in his ability that he will never let anyone look down on him. Very few people can kill it with ripped jeans, singlet and an eye patch. Only such a great and confident person could pull this off. Ruger is definitely the type of guy your boyfriend would warn you to avoid.

From his very first EP, he went viral like a pandemic. He definitely knew what he was doing when he named that EP Pandemic. Ruger is such a fine artist. He’s figuratively and literally fine, little wonder the ladies are always all over him.

Nigeria is so blessed with super talented people and our cloud is filled with so many stars; stars the dark clouds of corruption, tribalism and bad governance can’t cover. He is one of those stars breaking limits, reaching for the top and twinkling his awesomeness back at us like a rain of stardust. He is a multicolor star.

Ruger  AKA Michael Adebayo Olayinka was born on 23 September 1999, he is signed to D’Prince “Jonzing World record, a record label that has fellow young superstar, Rema. from his debut, he’s grown making hits back to back. He’s made hits like Bounce, Snapchat, Girlfriend and most recently Asiwaju. It’s because of all his charms and awesomeness that Ruger is our Man Crush this week

Does he have what it takes to bring back the Grammys with his Afro dancehall sound?

Ini Edo; The Dark & Sweet Joy Giver

0

Ini Edo has been a blessing for decades now, blessing our eyes with all that audio-visual bliss. Dark, beautiful, talented and all round awesome. Ini Edo is like chocolate; dark, sweet and a real joy giver.

How much effect can a drop of water have on a river? She defies the odds and she could just sweeten a full river with her chocolate goodness without even trying. A true super hero to all, since making her Nollywood debut in the early 2000’s, she has been getting better like fine wine. Her role in the 2004 blockbuster movie “World Apart “, where she played the role of a cute, naive village girl brought her to stardom.

She was born on April 23, 1982. At 40 years old, she still looks like a girl in her 20’s. Ini Edo was born in Akwa-Ibom state. She’s never been limited, she’s always looked higher to next goal, never stopped believing in her talents and hard work.

Ini Edo has thought me one thing: talent isn’t enough, hard work can never be replaced by talent. Dreams give birth to bigger dreams. It’s for this lesson Iniobong Edo is our Woman Crush this Wednesday.

Portable; The King Of the Street

0

Portable might be out of the street, but he is still the king of the street. Like they always say, “you can take a child off the street, but you can’t take the street out of the child”.  If he isn’t our Man crush today then there probably will be “wahala wahala”

Portable

He wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth but he turned plastic into gold. Portable gained stardom with his hit song Zazu zeh which featured legendary rapper and Afrobeat icon Olamide. The singer hasn’t looked back ever since. He strives in the face of controversy, he’s fearless and determined. A real motivation and reminder that you don’t need to be in a certain class to be world class. Success doesn’t follow a kind of profile, if you can be as dedicated as Portable, you can achieve success too.

The Ika of Africa has performed on land and even on water, if he can attach wings, I bet he will perform in air. Portable is always ready to give a great show, he doesn’t disappoint in giving a talking point. It remains to be seen how far he can go in his musical career.

Born on the 19th March 1994, Habeeb Akikiola (Portable) was born in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Habeeb is definitely synonymous with success, persistence, drive and passion.
