CKay Removes BNXN’s Verse from Song Due to Personal Request
Nigerian singer-songwriter and producer, Chukwuka Ekweani, professionally known as CKay, recently decided to remove BNXN (Buju)’s verse from his track titled ‘Hallelujah’ due to personal reasons. The collaboration, produced by Magicsticks and featuring rapper Blaqbonez, gained significant popularity and reached the top spot on Apple Music Nigeria. However, it appears that the song was originally intended to have additional features.
Several weeks after its release, CKay revealed that BNXN and street-hop artist Seyi Vibez were initially meant to be featured alongside Blaqbonez on the record. However, BNXN expressed his desire to be excused from the song after hearing Blaqbonez’s verse. CKay respected his request and made the necessary adjustments.
In an exciting development, the removed verse has now surfaced online, stirring mixed reactions among fans.
