Nigerian music superstar Davido has confidently labeled his fourth studio album, Timeless, as his best work so far. In an exclusive interview with comedian Broda Shaggi during the launch of his Puma collection, Davido shared insights into his personal fashion style and future music plans.
When asked about his fashion inspirations, Davido explained his preference for casual urban wear.
“I love wearing T-shirts, jeans, and sneakers to stay comfortable. You’ll find me in a suit when it’s time to collect money. Sometimes, I also wear Agbada,” he joked.
Timeless, which was released on March 31, 2023, has been a massive success, breaking records on platforms like Spotify Nigeria, Audiomack, Boomplay, and YouTube. The album earned a Grammy nomination for Best Global Album and produced chart-topping singles like “Unavailable” and “Feel,” both of which received Grammy nods.
Looking toward the future, Davido teased that his next album will surpass the success of Timeless.
“My next album will be better,” he declared, echoing a statement he made earlier during a visit by American content creator Kai Cenat. The highly anticipated project is expected to kick off with a collaboration featuring Jamaican star YG Marley.
Fans are eagerly awaiting what promises to be another groundbreaking release from Davido, as he continues to push boundaries both in music and fashion.
