Davido, with his fourth studio album, ‘Timeless,’ has broken Asake’s long-standing album streams record.
In less than a week after its release on the 31st of March 2023, Davido’s fourth Studio album ‘Timeless’ has surpassed an existing record of highest streams for a Nigerian album in the first week of its release previously held by Asake with his debut album ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe.’
According to Turntable charts, Davido is set to break Asake’s previous record of over 43 million streams in its first week of release after ‘Timeless’ was revealed to have surpassed 51.4 million streams in its first week across all digital streaming platforms.
‘Timeless’ is set to make a huge debut on next week’s album charts currently set to debut with 51.4m on-demand streams in its first week, breaking the previous record of 43.6m on-demand streams for Asake’s ‘MMWTV’ for the biggest debut by any album.
