Fireboy DML Unveils Tracklist for ‘Adedamola’ Album

Nigerian singer Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy DML, is set to release his fourth studio album titled “Adedamola.” The highly anticipated album, named after his birth name, marks another significant milestone in Fireboy’s ever-evolving music career. Fireboy DML, known for hits like “Jealous” and “Vibration,” took to his Instagram page to share the album’s tracklist, which features a total of 14 songs. The YBNL-signed artist has put together a diverse lineup of collaborations, enlisting the talents of Nigerian music legends Seun Kuti and Lagbaja, as well as the American jazz sensation Jon Batiste, who is the only international artist on the project. Other collaborators include Lojay, DJ Spinall, and Wande Coal, adding depth and variety to the album’s sound.

The tracklist reveals titles such as ‘Iseoluwa,’ ‘Call Me,’ ‘Ecstasy,’ ‘Hell and Back,’ ‘Letting Go,’ ‘Back n Forth,’ ‘Ready,’ and ‘Wande’s Bop.’ These songs promise to showcase Fireboy’s versatility as an artist, blending Afrobeat, soul, and contemporary sounds. The album also includes ‘Change Your Life,’ ‘Obaa Sima,’ ‘Need Me,’ ‘Yawa,’ ‘Everyday,’ and the intriguingly titled ‘Jon’s Interlude.’

Fireboy DML first burst onto the music scene in 2019 with his debut album, “Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps”. The album was a massive success, with tracks like “Scatter” gaining international recognition, even earning a spot on the FIFA 21 game soundtrack. His sophomore album, “Apollo”, released in 2020, further cemented his place as one of Nigeria’s leading music talents.

Fireboy’s rise to stardom continued with his third album, “Playboy”, released in 2022. His song “Coming Back For You” was featured on the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack, highlighting his growing influence on the global stage.

Describing his unique sound as “Afro-Life,” Fireboy cites Jon Bellion, Passenger, and Wande Coal as major influences. His music seamlessly blends elements of Afrobeats, pop, and R&B, creating a sound that resonates with both local and international audiences.
