The former Leicester City midfielder scored a goal against Bournemouth and provided two assists against Brentford during August. Additionally, the 26-year-old created nine scoring opportunities and delivered 25 crosses, ranking third in the Premier League in this regard.
Maddison was seen as the worthy winner by the fans who voted. He saw off competitors Taiwo Awoniyi, Rodri, Kaoru Mitoma, Bryan Mbuemo, and Jarred Bowen to claim this accolade, with public votes combined with the input of a panel of football experts.
