Wizkid Money or Love

More Love, Less Ego; My Top 5.

Wizkid released his much anticipated album, More Love, Less Ego on Friday, 11th of November 2022.  The album contains 13 tracks featuring stars like British-Nigerian rapper, Skepta, Ayra Starr, Jamaica’s Shenseea and Skillibeng, American rap star and singer Don Toliver, and the King of the Marlian movement, Naira Marley. With amazing production from top producers that worked on this.

The iconic singer continues to hit the global market and that’s exactly what More Love, Less Ego was made for. The star tried out new sounds and the practical definitely paid off. This album should have been tagged More Sex, Less Ego because it talked about sex in almost all the tracks.

After listening to the album a lot of times, here are my top 5 songs off More Love, Less Ego.

5. Wow Featuring Skepta & Naira Marley

This song had the magnificent Skepta, and we all know Skepta can never do no wrong. Wizkid did what needed to be done on this, groovy song all round, definitely a club banger. These 3 different styles of delivery totally blended and they delivered totally.

4. Frames (Who’s Gonna Know)

This one is a much slower paced song, it has Wizkid begging a lady and I wonder what spells she cast on Daddy Wizkid. It’s one of the better songs lyrically on the album. It could be my number one later on, you never can tell.

3. Slip N Slid Featuring Shenseea and Skillibeng.

Skillibeng brought the Carribean vibes pon’ this one and he definitely killed this tune. It probably is the best collaboration on the album the 3 of them sounded in sync and the only reason this song is at number 3 is just because of my bias. Nice tune, great instrumentals and Shenseea sounded like a goddess.

2.  Flower Pads

This track has Wizkid stamping his authority. This song can create it’s own genre; Afro-erotica. It had everything, flows, naughty lyrics and he even whispered on this one. This song would be crazy if he remixes and features Rave Lord, Rema.

1. Bad To Me

The amapiano experiment definitely worked wonders. Even though it’s been previously released as a single, it feels ever new and it just has to be number 1. Its a banger, bad to me has been so good to me.
