The Abuja rapper has joined the ranks of icons with this new achievement.
Buzzing Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has matched the record set by renowned Nigerian rapper Olamide on Spotify.
The Native Records signee, who has been consistently making waves since his breakthrough with “Picanto,” has reached another significant milestone with the deluxe version of his fifth studio album, Eziokwu (Uncut). The album features collaborations with Duncan Mighty, Nasty C, Teni, Black Sherif, and BOJ.
Recently, the album surpassed an impressive 200 million streams on Spotify, making it the second album by a Nigerian rapper to reach this milestone. This accomplishment ties the record set by veteran rapper Olamide, who achieved the same with his 2020 album Carpe Diem.
In addition to amassing such substantial streams, Eziokwu (Uncut), which includes hit singles like “Blood on the Dance Floor,” “Declan Rice,” “Woto Woto Seasoning,” and others, has become the longest-charting album at the #1 spot on the Spotify Nigeria album chart for a rapper, remaining at the top for over 21 weeks.
