Nigerians have been left in shock over Super Eagles striker ruled out of AFCON over a supposed injury that would have kept him out for 3 weeks.
The shock was as a result of news out on social media following a recent video shared by the La Liga club side Real Sociedad showing forward Sadiq Umar back on the grass after he was ruled out of AFCON 2023 due to a reported knee injury. The injury was reportedly supposed to keep him out for 3 weeks.
Sadiq Umar was replaced by Paul Onuachu after it was reported that the Nigerian international had picked up a knock in the friendly match played ahead of AFCON 2023 by Nigeria against Guinea.
Nigerians and football fans have had mixed reactions as to how a player who was declared unfit for the next three games back on the grass for personal training.
