The Canadian rapper decided to dig into the archives and bless the streets with some special unreleased music and video content.
Canadian Grammy-winning rapper and singer Aubrey Graham, commonly known as Drake, shared a trove of unreleased content online. Among this treasure trove is a video of him and his camp vibing to his song with Nigerian Afrobeats singer Rema.
On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, Drake decided to go to the vault and unleash 100GB of unreleased content for fans. The site to which the content was uploaded, tagged 100GIGSFORYOURHEADTOP, contains hidden gems like the Rema video, Drake & Rihanna rehearsing, a studio session of when he was recording his smash hit ‘One Dance’ featuring Wizkid, and loads of unreleased music and videos.
Recall that in 2022, Rema mentioned in an interview with English journalist and YouTuber Amelia Dimoldenberg for her web series “Chicken Shop Date” that he has a song with Drake titled “Mention Me.” Although a snippet of the song eventually surfaced, it has yet to be officially released.
In the newly surfaced video, Drake and a handful of others are seen listening and vibing to the song while chatting excitedly about it. Although it seems that Drake and his camp like the record, it is unknown why they decided not to release it.
