Crown Uzama, known professionally as Shallipopi, is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter. He started doing music at a young age and even though he felt he had a lot to offer, he struggled to raise the funds needed to push his music career. The young man still didn’t give up, he kept pushing, posting freestyles and making videos on TikTok. His hard work paid off and Shallipopi is definitely who’s popping now.
He gained initial recognition with the release of “Obapluto” in 2023. Shallipopi was signed to Dvpper Music Distribution, a Nigerian music record distribution company. He is best known internationally for his 2023 hit single “Elon Musk”, which peaked at No. 1 on the Nigeria Top 100 Apple Music.
