Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer Wizkid has set a new record when it comes to international award nominations that has put Africa as a continent on the map.

Wizkid following his two nominations for the BET Awards in two distinct categories has become the most nominated African artist at the BET awards with a total of 8 award nominations. Wizkid has the highest number of nominations for any African artist in the history of the BET awards. Wizkid also bagged over 7 award nominations at the Headies awards 2022 as well.
