As excitement grows for Afrobeats icon Wizkid’s upcoming album, Morayo, a new snippet has been revealed, sending fans into a frenzy.
Wizkid (Ayodeji Balogun) recently shared a teaser from his much-anticipated sixth studio album, Morayo. The Nigerian superstar, whose last project, More Love, Less Ego (2022), received mixed reviews, is back with a fresh sound. Featuring standout collaborations, including his 2024 appearance on Bob Marley’s One Love album and DJ Tunez’s Apala Disco Remix, which became an instant fan favorite, the Starboy is set to captivate his global audience once again.
Morayo is an especially meaningful project, dedicated to Wizkid’s late mother, whom he lost in 2023. On September 17, 2024, the Afrobeats sensation further ignited anticipation by dropping a snippet of his latest track, Piece of My Heart, featuring American R&B artist Brent Faiyaz. The smooth, feel-good R&B track has already received rave reactions from fans who can’t wait for the full release.
