One part of the duo confirmed that the group is currently having another crisis over their music royalties.
Nigerian iconic singer and performer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has given details about his EFCC arrest, including what he was arrested for and who wrote the petition against him.
There have been rumors of the duo facing issues again after their recent reconciliation following a four-year split. Confirming the rumors in a radio interview with Max FM, Rudeboy revealed that there are indeed ongoing issues within the group.
Rudeboy disclosed that he was recently summoned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over fraud allegations. Specifically, he and his elder brother Jude Okoye, who used to manage the group and even directed some of their videos, were accused of diverting funds meant for P-Square as a group.
In the interview, Rudeboy revealed that the petition to the EFCC was filed by his twin brother Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P. He attributed the situation to factors such as bad advice, anger, envy, and jealousy on his twin brother’s part. The award-winning singer also mentioned that the case took over six months before he was eventually cleared by the EFCC.
