Seun Kuti shared and narrated his ordeal of how things had gone while he was in police custody.
Grammy-nominated afrobeat artist Seun Anikulapo Kuti in an Instagram live session on social media, opened up on how his time in prison and police custody had been following his arrest for slapping a police officer.
The ace afrobeat musician had been arrested and charged to court for assaulting a police officer, an offence contrary to Section 356 of the Criminal Code Act, and although the singer was granted bail on May 16, 2023, after Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ordered police to complete their investigation within 48 hours, he wasn’t released until today, May 23, 2023.
Following his release, the artist made his way out of the country in a bid to meet up with his Europe Tour, where he revealed how his time in police custody had gone.
