Jorginho Reveals The Real Reason For His Shocking Move To Arsenal

2

Italian midfielder Jorginho has opened up on the main reason he had made an unexpected move from Chelsea to Arsenal.

In a move that shocked the football world in January 2023, Italian midfielder Jorginho made a move to Arsenal from arch-rivals Chelsea FC. Jorginho, in an interview, revealed why he had opted for a move to Arsenal from Chelsea in January 2023 and how the Gunners’ head coach Mikel Arteta had played a huge role in facilitating the move.

Jorginho revealed:

‘It’s one of the reasons, surely,

He called me and it was all very quick, we made the deal in less than 48 hours. I had spoken to Chelsea and I knew I was no longer part of their plans. I wanted to progress in my career and the Arsenal project suits me.

It’s a young team that plays good football and fits my characteristics. I considered every scenario and made the decision. Sometimes you must accept when you are out of a project and that things come to an end.’

He made a quick entry into the arsenal team and was instrumental in their 4-2 victory over Aston Villa to put them two points clear on top of the premier league table.

Jorginho, in the interview, also opened up on how the Manchester City victory over the Gunners at the Emirates stadium in the premier league had affected the team.

He revealed:

‘No, if you look at the game, it was decided in the penalty boxes,

You can’t commit certain mistakes against these champions at this level. We made mistakes, and they punished us.

After the game, I was confident because we played well,

We forced Man City to play long balls and not many teams do that, so it means we did good things.

We were disappointed with the result and the mistakes, but we remained calm because we knew we’d made many good things. If we don’t believe in it now, then when?’

Speed Darlington claims Tems, Teni are imitating Tiwa Savage

0

Speed Darlington, the US-based Nigerian rapper, has argued that Tems and Teni are imitating Tiwa Savage.

The trio are among the biggest female singers in Africa and have won an avalanche of awards among themselves.

But in a recent chat with the ‘Be Grounded’ podcast, the rapper claimed Teni and Tems are “trying hard to imitate” Tiwa.

Speaking in Pidgin English, the content creator argued that the similarities in the first letters of their names — Tems, Teni, and Tiwa — appeared to be a pattern.

Darlington alleged that the duo are scared to take risks regarding their stage names so they “decided to imitate Tiwa because her name brought her fame.”

The rapper, however, did not provide enough context to back his claims.

Darlington also revealed how Zlatan Ibile once rescued him during a gun issue in Lagos.

“Zlatan na my gee! E get one time wey I get some gun issue for Lagos, he quickly came to my rescue,” he said.

“He came with some bodyguards and some men with badges, so he was able to overwhelm my headache

“Because my headache, she believe say she bad, she is connected. So, when I make my own phone call everything became calm.”

Darlington has always made the headlines for several controversial issues.

In 2017, he released his first single ‘Bang Da Dadang’.

The NBA all-star game, which took place on February 20th, 2023, in Salt Lake City, Utah, was designed to see basketball superstars from both conferences, consisting of Team Lebron and Team Giannis, compete in an energetic match to raise funds for charity.

Away from sports, music was equally a highlight of the night, and Nigerian international superstars Burna Boy, Rema, and Tems took center stage in what was an Afrobeats-themed performance.

Introduced by Toronto Raptor’s Cameroonian star Pascal Siakam, Grammy award-winning Burna Boy kicked off the show with an absolutely thrilling performance of “Anybody” while being backed up by his ever-impressive Outsiders Band. The African Giant went on to perform “It’s Plenty” and “Ye” before ending with his globally known “Last Last.”

Mavin/Jonzing world Afrobeats sensation Rema thrilled the spectators next, opening with an angelic rendition of “Calm Down,” after which he upped the tempo of the song and ended his performance with an impressive delivery of his new single, “Holiday.”

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Tems also dazzled the audience with a sizzling performance of her hit singles “Crazy Tings,” “Free Mind,” “Essence.” and rounding up with “Higher.”

Samuel Chukwueze; The Sleek Wing Wizard.

1

Our Man Crush Monday is one of Nigeria’s finest footballers at the moment, a wing wizard who waves his left foot and defences tremble. Flick, slick, quick, trick, in a blink, no surprise he’s called the Nigerian flash.

Samuel Chukwueze
Samuel Chukwueze

Woah!

Initially, we knew he was blessed by God and his left feet was made with the same materials a magic wand was made with. From the FIFA U-17 World cup 2015 he and fellow Nigerian golden boy, Victor Osimhen made the world their playing ground and took the world by storm winning the world cup along.

Furthermore, the 23 years old has been gaining popularity over the years with his fearless and relentless dribbling football. Playing for one of Spain’s traditional side in Villarreal, the yellow submarines means he’s top quality no doubt.

Why Is He Our Man Crush Monday?

Handsome with a charming smile too but could make defences wanna jump and maybe sit on fences, cutting through them like hot knife through butter, leaving them behind like they’re past tenses and make you wander what you just saw from your eyes lenses. This and more is why Samuel Chukwueze is our Man Crush Monday.

Born on the 22th of May 1999 in Umuahia, Abia State. The winger is surely a blessing to the Nigerian football family. Even though his club career in Europe didn’t begin at a fast pace, he kept his head high. He has worked hard, waited for his chance and never looked back ever in since.

He’s already scored 8 goals and assisted 7 others this season in all competitions. Proving he’s just the best candidate for our Man Crush Monday.
Chukwueze is flying, getting better with every single day. Soaring through the atmosphere, taking a tour through challenges and making a beautiful success picture of them. A real Super Eagle in flight.
