Nicki Minaj and Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy, might just be collaborating in a song. Nicki Minaj teased a new collaboration with Burna Boy after the rap queen made fans salivate with a teaser of her upcoming collaboration with Afrobeats hitmaker Burna Boy.
The upcoming song is coming off the back of Burna Boy’s performance at the 66th Grammy Awards where he became the first African artist to perform at the main ceremony.
The snippet showed Nicki vibing to her verse on Burna’s song, Tested, Approved & Trusted. The song was on Burna Boy’s album, “I Told Them“.
The single also continues a run of international collaboration from the Grammy winner who has been positioning himself as a superstar in the American market.
The American is one of the biggest rappers in the world with a sizable followership in Nigeria. Her upcoming collaboration with Burna Boy is her second with a Nigerian artist after she appeared on Davido’s ‘Holy Ground’ off his third album ‘A Better Time’. The American rapper and the African Giant will be collaborating for the first time and this looks like the first of many collaborations to come from the duo.
